Senior Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Jackson, MS)

Amberfield Corner Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
