Senior Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Fort Worth, TX)

Summit Ember Staffing Group is a Fort Worth staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our benefit deductions. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
