Senior Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (El Paso, TX)

Cedar Kestrel Financial is a financial-services company in El Paso, and we need a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead our benefit deductions. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. • Payroll certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
