Senior Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Denver, CO)

Northwind Pike Construction is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist. The job centres on benefit deductions for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Denver. What you will do • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. What we are looking for • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
