Senior Payroll Specialist - benefit deductions (Dallas, TX)

Amberfield Kestrel Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Dallas. We are hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to take on benefit deductions. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Audit timecards and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. • Handle garnishments, benefit deductions and new-hire setup. • Answer employee pay questions promptly and clearly. • Prepare quarterly filings and year-end forms. • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff. What we are looking for • Strong accuracy, especially under a deadline. • Two or more years of payroll experience. • Knowledge of wage-and-hour rules and multi-state basics. Nice to have • Payroll certification. • Experience with ADP, Paycom or a similar system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
