Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Tulsa, OK)

Rivermark Sparrow Freight is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tulsa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
