Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Tucson, AZ)

Stonegate Meridian Inspection Services Group tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Tucson, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for scheduling and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
