Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Tucson, AZ)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Forge Environmental Services Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
