Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Tucson, AZ)

Highbridge Meridian Foods produces packaged foods at its Tucson plant, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
