Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Summit Juniper Foods and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 153 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
