Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Rochester, NY)

Greenridge Summit Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Rochester, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
