Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Rook Manufacturing and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for scrap and rework and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
