Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Rochester, NY)

Cedar Quarry Energy is an energy provider in Rochester focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
