Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Keystone Freight and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
