Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Cross Foods and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
