Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Amberfield Glen Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Seattle, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 55 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
