Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Redstone Quarry Freight is a Orlando logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. We reward reliability. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
