Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Mill Transit Planning and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
