Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Rivermark Ashton Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Philadelphia. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
