Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Orchard Freight and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
