Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Northwind Union Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
