Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Linden Foods and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
