Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Silverline Kestrel Manufacturing makes precision components in Fort Worth. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
