Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Linden Facilities and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
