Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Highbridge Iron Construction Group delivers building projects for owners across the Kansas City region. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 153 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
