Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Westbrook Lakeside Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Philadelphia design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 66 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
