Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Harborlight Juniper Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Kansas City, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
