Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Highbridge Meridian Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Chicago, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
