Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Westbrook Mill Environmental Services Associates collects and processes waste and recycling around Philadelphia. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
