Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Bright Clear Farms is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for seasonal crews, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
