Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Ironwood Ivory Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Rochester with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
