Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Amberfield Wren Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
