Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Rivermark Ivory Transit Planning is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 347 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
