Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Westbrook Construction is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
