Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Wren Environmental Services and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
