Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate North Construction and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 195 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
