Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (remote)

Silverline Mill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Rochester design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
