Cedar Oak Transit Planning is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
