Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Portland, OR)

Greenridge Drift Foods is a Portland food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Portland. What you will do • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
