Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Pittsburgh, PA)

Cedar Mill Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Pittsburgh, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
