Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Philadelphia, PA)

Amberfield Rook Water Authority is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for capital projects and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
