Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Philadelphia, PA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Mill Freight and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
