Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Philadelphia, PA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Mill Transit Planning Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
