Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Orlando, FL)

Silverline Pine Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Orlando area. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
