Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Orlando, FL)

Summit Lakeside Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Orlando. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 183 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
