Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Oklahoma City, OK)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Union Farms and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 107 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
