Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Oklahoma City, OK)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Quarry Energy and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oklahoma City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
