Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Wren Transit Planning Partners and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
