Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (New Orleans, LA)

Stonegate Harbor Freight is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
