Senior Operations Manager - vendor management (Memphis, TN)

Highbridge Meridian Foods Group is a Memphis food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 185 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
